With the adoption of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”), a new era has been entered in our country, and the aforementioned Law protects the citizens with certain rights against the natural and legal persons that it defines as data controllers, while it also imposes certain limits and obligations on data controllers.
