Ata Can BEKTAŞ

Ata Can Bektaş has been a business partner at İste & İste Law Firm since 2025.

His practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, insurance law and private law disputes, advising domestic and international clients across a range of industries.

He graduated from Istanbul Commerce University Faculty of Law in 2009 and, following the completion of his legal traineeship, has been practising law since 2010.

Areas of Expertise

He advises companies on their day-to-day legal matters, the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements, corporate matters and the assessment and management of legal risks arising from commercial relationships.

His dispute resolution practice includes the strategic management of commercial and private law disputes from the pre-litigation stage onwards, as well as representing clients in proceedings before Turkish courts.

His practice also encompasses insurance-related disputes and private law matters involving inheritance and assets.

Professional & Other Activities

Alongside his legal practice, he is actively involved in sports and social responsibility initiatives. He participates in national and international road races and takes part in sporting activities within the Istanbul Bar Association.

He is a Congress Member of Fenerbahçe Sports Club and contributes to the activities of various charitable organisations and associations.

He is fluent in Turkish and English.
