Ceren Duman Aydın advises clients on corporate and commercial matters, dispute resolution and arbitration, as well as data protection and privacy.

She graduated from Istanbul Commerce University Faculty of Law in 2018.

Corporate & Commercial

Ceren advises domestic and international companies operating across a range of sectors on their day-to-day legal and business needs. Her practice includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, assessing legal risks arising from business operations, and supporting legal matters across different business functions.

As part of her ongoing corporate advisory work, she advises clients on corporate and commercial law, contract law, employment law, consumer law and other private law matters arising from their business activities.

Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Ceren has experience in the strategic management of a broad range of private law disputes, particularly commercial disputes, from the pre-litigation stage through court proceedings.

She actively represents clients before Turkish courts and is involved in all stages of litigation, including developing case strategy, preparing pleadings and legal submissions, assessing evidence and managing proceedings through to their conclusion.

Her arbitration experience includes acting both as counsel and as tribunal secretary. She has been involved in the preparation and conduct of arbitral proceedings, management of procedural matters, and preparation of submissions and evidentiary materials.

Data Protection & Privacy

Data protection and privacy constitute a significant part of Ceren’s practice. She advises companies on the establishment, implementation and ongoing management of compliance and governance frameworks under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

Her work covers the assessment of data processing activities and data flows, privacy notices and consent mechanisms, data retention and destruction policies, data subject requests, contractual arrangements with data processors, cookies and digital marketing practices, data breach assessments and cross-border data transfers.

She also works closely with clients’ legal, HR, marketing, IT and other business functions to integrate data protection requirements into day-to-day operations and to structure internal processes in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Ceren has completed advanced professional training in Turkish and international data protection and privacy law.
