Nesime İste

Nesime İste is a senior legal consultant and arbitrator with extensive judicial experience spanning nearly four decades.

She graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 1976 and began her judicial career in 1978. Throughout her career, she served in various judicial positions in civil, criminal, enforcement and property-related matters across Türkiye.

From 2006 until her retirement in 2016, she served as a Judge at the 1st Civil Court of First Instance of Istanbul.

Following her judicial career, she has continued her professional practice as a legal consultant and arbitrator. She acts as an arbitrator in private law disputes, including both ad hoc proceedings and arbitrations administered by national and international arbitration institutions.

At Iste & Iste, she contributes her extensive judicial experience to the Firm’s dispute resolution practice, particularly in complex civil and commercial disputes.
